SYPAQ Systems and Tanglewood Group have joined forces in a strategic partnership to support the worldwide sales of the SYPAQ Corvo Precision Payload Delivery System (PPDS). Building on the successful delivery of over 500 PPDS autonomous systems to the Ukraine Defence force, the two companies will collaborate to facilitate additional sales, provide support, and expand distribution networks across Europe and the Middle East.
The Corvo PPDS UAS developed by SYPAQ is an advanced and cost-effective fixed-wing autonomous system designed to deliver payloads covertly and reliably with exceptional accuracy. The UAS solutions are delivered as flat pack kits made primarily from waxed foamboard, ensuring easy assembly and operation. With a payload capacity of up to 3kg and a range exceeding 100km, the Corvo PPDS can autonomously navigate to precise locations and land without assistance. Its adaptability empowers end-users to innovate during their operations.
"We are delighted to partner with Richard and the Tanglewood team to expand sales of our successful Corvo PPDS autonomous system in Defence and Commercial markets across Europe and the Middle East," said Michael Partridge, General Manager of SYPAQ Systems.
"Having Tanglewood in close proximity to these markets will enable us to provide more timely and effective support to customers seeking world-leading attritable, military-grade autonomous capabilities. Our Corvo PPDS has demonstrated exceptional performance in Ukraine, and we aim to replicate this success in markets worldwide."
Richard Glyn-Jones, Co-Founder and Director of Tanglewood, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration: "We are excited to work with the SYPAQ team and leverage Tanglewood's extensive market reach in Europe and the Middle East, along with our experience in autonomous systems and sensors, to support the expansion of Corvo PPDS operations. We believe that the PPDS will play a pivotal role in future military operations, as well as in areas such as Search & Rescue, Law Enforcement, and humanitarian aid delivery. Our partnership with SYPAQ enables us to develop future technology integrations and expand the range of use cases. We look forward to introducing the PPDS and working closely with the SYPAQ team."
The strategic partnership between SYPAQ Systems and Tanglewood Group aims to leverage their collective expertise and resources to drive the growth of the Corvo PPDS UAS globally. With Tanglewood's market presence and autonomous system knowledge, combined with SYPAQ's proven track record and advanced capabilities, the partnership sets the stage for expanding the reach and application of the Corvo PPDS in diverse operational contexts.
