Axon, the leading technology firm in public safety, today revealed a definitive agreement to acquire Dedrone, a top provider of airspace security solutions. This acquisition aligns with Axon's mission to Protect Life, leveraging Dedrone's technologies which are crucial for public safety and national security against the backdrop of growing drone threats. The integration of Dedrone will enhance Axon's capacity to secure communities and respond to critical incidents effectively, safeguarding more lives across various locations.

Completion of this deal is pending customary closing conditions and is slated for the latter half of 2024. Details of the financial terms were not disclosed. Legal advisement for Axon was provided by Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, while Dedrone received counsel from Tidal Partners and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP regarding the transaction.
