Doodle Labs has entered into a partnership with UKRSPECSYSTEMS, a leading manufacturer of advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This joint venture is geared towards addressing the challenges faced by the drone suppliers serving the Ukraine defense forces, with the aim to improve the operational features of the MINI SHARK UAV.
UAVs, when utilized by the Ukraine defense forces, have faced difficulties, including threats from Russian jamming techniques and the challenges presented by the region's diverse terrain and fluctuating conditions.
In light of these challenges, UKRSPECSYSTEMS has incorporated Doodle Labs' Helix Mesh Rider Radio into the MINI SHARK UAV. This innovative on-board datalink system is tailored to confront the specific challenges encountered by the Ukraine defense forces.
The Helix Mesh Rider Radio, uses cutting-edge multi-band wireless technology, ensuring reliable communication despite jamming efforts. Its advanced mesh networking features maintain continuous connectivity, even in strenuous and unpredictable situations. With this radio's inclusion, the MINI SHARK UAV is expected to have better situational awareness, an increased operational range, and heightened resistance to potential hostile disruptions.
Feedback from field operators in Ukraine indicates the capability to transmit high-definition video over distances up to 80km. They have also been able to counter active jamming attempts using the multi-band Mesh Rider Radio's multiple frequency bands.
