Draganfly, an industry leader in drone solutions and systems, has revealed its latest product, the Commander 3 XL Hybrid, at the ongoing Commercial UAV Expo at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
Building on the North American designed Commander 3 XL airframe, the new hybrid model aims to offer longer flight durations. The Commander 3 XL Hybrid stands out with its versatility, accommodating an array of payloads, including Draganfly's own Precision Delivery System. Its powertrain enables the drone to fly with a payload weighing up to 8.8 lb for a duration of up to 3 hours.
Beyond the extended flight time, the new drone addresses challenges related to remote charging and battery transport. The Commander 3 XL Hybrid sports a fuel injection system that promises high power output and top-tier fuel efficiency. This versatile hybrid engine can operate on both gasoline or heavy fuels and offers reliable on-board diagnostics for consistent performance.
