DroneShield, a leading provider of drone detection and countermeasure solutions, has announced a significant $33 million order from a U.S. Government agency. The order encompasses DroneShield equipment and multi-year services.
Matt McCrann, CEO of DroneShield's U.S. division, stated,
"We're honored to receive this award and support this customer. This award is a result of their trust in DroneShield and our solutions, and reflects our commitment to their mission."
McCrann emphasized the dedication and efforts of the DroneShield team and their commitment to delivering value to customers worldwide. He further expressed optimism about the company's future, stating, "We're proud of our team's efforts, the increasing value we've delivered to our customers worldwide, and are excited about continuing to support and grow the business as we look towards 2024 and beyond."
DroneShield anticipates receiving full payment for the order by the end of 2023, which is expected to contribute to another record-breaking year for the company. This order follows a recently announced $9.9 million order from another customer within the Five Eyes community, further bolstering DroneShield's strong performance.
With the latest order, DroneShield's current order backlog, representing committed orders in the process of fulfillment, stands at a record $62 million. The company's pipeline includes over 80 opportunities, amounting to more than $200 million.
With its ongoing success, DroneShield looks well-positioned to capitalize on future opportunities addressing the evolving security challenges posed by drones.
