DroneShield has launched the DroneSentry-X Mk2, a cutting-edge counterdrone solution designed for mobile and stationary applications. This new generation system is built to passively detect, identify, and track various unmanned systems, leveraging advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) technology. A significant highlight of DroneSentry-X is the integration of DroneShield's RFAI™ technology for passive detection, combined with its electronic countermeasure (ECM) technology, RFAI-ATK™, making it the first in the Counter-UAS industry to offer this feature.
The development of DroneSentry-X has been informed by comprehensive research, development, and user feedback. This feedback ensured that the product met primary requirements in terms of feature sets, performance, user interfaces, and seamless integration capabilities. The system's design promotes interoperability, featuring an in-built RFAI user interface that enhances local and tactical situational awareness. Moreover, the DroneSentry-X supports the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), ensuring smooth integration with existing systems, third-party sensors, effectors, and command and control (C2) platforms.
The DroneSentry-X will be showcased at the Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition (AUSA 2023) in Washington, DC. DroneShield has also confirmed that the initial orders for the system will be shipped later this month.
