EuroLink Systems, in collaboration with Drones for Yachts, a leading organization advocating for the use of drones in connecting marinas and ports with yachts, has formed a strategic partnership. Drones for Yachts offers expert guidance to yacht clubs and similar groups to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, licensing requirements, insurance considerations, race management applications, education, and safety measures. Through this partnership, Drones for Yachts will leverage EuroLink's Beluga family of mini-drones for various applications, including capturing footage of yachts and races, transporting supplies to yachts at sea, intelligence gathering, and weather monitoring.
The Beluga series of mini-drones by EuroLink Systems stands out with its unique set of features tailored to its class. These features encompass an aerodynamic design, impressive endurance, speed, payload capacity, environmental adaptability, on-board AI capabilities, advanced communications, and groundbreaking propeller/blade technology. Additionally, the Beluga drones offer a distinctive water take-off/landing capability. The versatility of these features makes them applicable to both commercial and defense target applications, serving dual purposes.
One of the key advantages of the Beluga drones is their ease of deployment for delivering goods and materials of varying sizes. With its precision landing feature, the drone can take off and land in an area as small as 1mx1m, accommodating the demands of limited space in marinas and ports. Furthermore, the platform offers the option to integrate a mechanical winch capable of delivering goods weighing up to 2 kg without the need for a solid landing surface.
Despite its compact size in the mini-drone category (10-12 kg class), the Beluga drone boasts a highly integrated system that allows for the attachment of various payloads without compromising its performance. The drone can be configured to accommodate larger items by expanding the dimensions of its aerodynamic cargo bay. Remarkably, the advanced propulsion system and unique aerodynamic shape of the Beluga enable it to support payloads of up to 3.5 kg without compromising performance or safety standards.
