Sharper Shape, a leading provider of powerline management solutions for the utilities industry, has announced a new contract win and partnership with MissionGO, a global leader in autonomous aircraft systems and solutions. The collaboration aims to enhance data collection services through the utilization of Sharper Shape's Drone Services Provider (DSP) management service and living digital twin software, CORE, along with MissionGO's Heliscope helicopter payload.
CORE, an advanced platform developed by Sharper Shape, enables service providers to proactively manage projects, gain a comprehensive understanding of project status, and identify efficiencies by consolidating all relevant information into one platform. By leveraging this technology, Sharper Shape will streamline MissionGO's data collection and workflow management processes.
MissionGO, known for its achievements in uncrewed aerial services (UAS) and currently servicing one of the largest UAS utility inspection contracts globally, will benefit from the full suite of CORE capabilities. This includes easy access to all data, documentation, and plans across the company.
Nate Ernst, Director of Business Development and Strategy at MissionGO, highlighted the shared vision between the two companies, stating, "Sharper Shape's Living Digital Twin leverages existing capture methods while future-proofing new ones. Strategic partnerships are key to accelerating our business and providing comprehensive solutions. The drone systems and helicopters within MissionGO's toolbox will now be empowered to collect higher quality data and operate much more efficiently."
Jon Budreski, Director of Customer Development at Sharper Shape, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with MissionGO. He emphasized the benefits of CORE in streamlining drone operations, stating,
"With CORE, they can bring all of this under one roof, creating efficiencies that haven't been possible before. We're committed to making inspection flights easier, simpler, and more productive. We're looking forward to assisting MissionGO on its journey towards a more streamlined approach."
The partnership between Sharper Shape and MissionGO exemplifies the drive to leverage cutting-edge technology and collaborative efforts to enhance data collection and workflow management in the utilities industry. Through the integration of their respective platforms, both companies aim to provide comprehensive solutions and unlock new efficiencies in data-driven operations.
