SpearUAV, a leader in autonomous, AI-integrated Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), has launched the MCL Viper (Multi Canister Launcher). The system facilitates the launch of VIPER 300 Systems while on the move, applicable for various military platforms, both manned and unmanned.
The MCL Viper boasts a flexible design with configurations starting from four canisters. This system improves military forces' agility and response time while prioritizing the safety of vehicle occupants.
Significantly, the MCL Viper can deploy multiple VIPER systems either simultaneously or in sequence. This offers military units real-time Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities. Coupled with Electronic Warfare (EW) measures, it provides both precision attack options and enhanced situational awareness, supporting both Swarm and individual operational modes.
One of the MCL Viper's features is its compact design and ability to operate from within a vehicle, even when it's in motion. This responsive and intuitive system is resilient under challenging conditions, proving invaluable for modern warfare situations.
Yiftach Kleinman, EVP Commercial at Spear UAV, commented, “Our goal at Spear is to address the challenges of SWAP (Size, Weight, and Power) in military platforms and enhance tactical forces' capabilities. Drawing from our experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) across a variety of platforms, we developed the MCL Viper. It promises to advance the VIPER 300 family's capabilities for diverse military units, enabling them to benefit from features like speed, compactness, and cost-effectiveness, and engage targets effectively.”
Kleinman further highlighted the MCL Viper’s integration with BMS and C4i systems, emphasizing its role in transforming tactical effectiveness. He added, "The introduction of the MCL Viper underscores SpearUAV's dedication to advancing defense technology, offering solutions that transform battlefield strategies.”
