Wingtra, a key player in aerial data solutions, has announced the appointment of Bryn Fosburgh as an independent board member. Fosburgh, a veteran of the surveying, construction, and mining sectors, brings decades of leadership experience to his new role. His focus will be on refining Wingtra’s aerial data workflow and enhancing its partnership and marketing strategies to increase adoption across various industries.
Fosburgh’s career spans more than 30 years, including his recent position as Senior Vice President at Trimble, where he served as a direct adviser to the CEO. Before joining Trimble, Fosburgh spent nearly a decade working in federal and state government roles at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Defense Mapping Agency.
A respected leader in the geospatial field, Fosburgh currently serves as President of the World Geospatial Industry Council (WGIC) and as Foundation President of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG Foundation). His board experience extends to multiple organizations, including his current role at Sumuwatt, and he has held positions at Woolpert and other startups.
Fosburgh’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. His career achievements include the civil engineering alumni achievement award from Purdue and induction into the Association of Equipment Manufacturers Hall of Fame.
