Ørsted has launched heavy-lift cargo drones capable of carrying up to 100 kg to deliver equipment to the Borssele 1&2 Offshore Wind Farm. These drones enhance operational efficiency and safety by significantly reducing delivery time and minimizing risks associated with traditional vessel-based transport.

This makes Ørsted the first company in the offshore wind sector to adopt such a measure.
